  10. This article is probably of no interest to some Amiga dudes,but most of us
  11. grew up on the C64 and this is a commentary on what is happening on the
  12. scene at the moment.

  14. I may sound stupid in the following article,but all C64 guyz will have to wake
  15. up for the long life of the fab C64 machine.
  16. If u dont make a real scene,u will see the death of the C64.
  17. I have noticed that the attitudes of dudes have changed somewhat in the last
  18. few months-lazyness etc.
  19. 1:I accepted that the machine would have to die sometime bcoz of loadza warez on
  20. Amiga/ST/IBM.
  21. What will happen in the near future?-I dont know.
  22. The good old C64 goes down and down.
  23. 1-Much shit software is spreaded.
  24. Thousands of disk magazines.Nearly every group has a disk mag.
  25. More groups should make demos and utilities.
  26. -What are those megacool disk mag cracks and people
  27. cracking basic cracks.People will have to stop filling disks with notes etc.
  28. 2:many good friends have joined the Amiga scene in recent months.
  29. They will probably be turned off the c64 for ever.
  30. And there are way too many lamers on the scene who want to swap hot stuff.
  31. There are also too many recrackers in the scene and this results in the usual
  32. war situation which we should not have on the scene.
  33. 3:Some of the Cracking groups on the scene have very short and lame intros.
  34. Fuck the logo etc.Just look at Fairlight, triad and Public Enemy intros,
  35. they are kool.
  36. 4:Ikari died,they were once the elite group on the scene.I guess that is the 
  37. end of an era.More famous groups will join the amiga scene over the next year.

  39. The good old elites will change soon and as for the new elite dudes,they wont 
  40. have much have much time for the C64 scene.I think!!
  41. 5:The demos,we never thought in 1987,that they could open the borders,
  42. more than 100 multiplexed sprites,fli/afli/eci amazing paint progs.
  43. DYCP,DXYCP,FLD etc etc.
  44. And the fast plotters,vectors.
  45. We can code more cool demos next time,any cool ideas.
  46. 6:In the last year,i heard some pardey reports and sure,the pardeys are
  47. getting lamer and lamer.
  48. What happened to the good old Venlo?
  49. Maybe the pardeys are bigger but the C64 scene is S  I  C  K !!!
  50. But if you wanna save the scene or just wanna help us for the good old
  51. times,Please put greater effort into the C64.
  52. I dont wanna cause trouble,i just want to encourage people to make a
  53. greater effort on the machine.
  54. Why spend time with wars?
  55. All groups will have to unite and thats okej.
